Autumn in the woods

Esther Brokaw:

“When I was a child I was in awe of the canopy of the forest when I stepped into the woods.  After moving back to the Northeast from Texas, I loved the Autumn color and tried to capture a view of the canopy of the forest in full Autumn color.  Pleased with the outcome, I like the movement in this painting”

The original of this painting is 22” x 28”.  Oil on linen, created 1992.
